Brading has worked with virtually every major home automation company in Southern Ontario. Full integration with "HA" systems such as Lutron, Vantage, Crestron, Eagis and AMX can be accomplished with any motorized window covering. From battery operated to 24 volt DC or 120 volt AC, solutions exist to interface any motor with any automation network.

Several high quality "group controllers" are available to interface motorized shades with home automation (HA) systems. Brading has worked with numerous "third party" suppliers of these controls. Some work well in one application but are found to be problematic or "weak" in others. The problem is usually due to "conflicting logic" within the group controller and how it "talks" to the home automation system. Sometimes it is difficult to "deactivate" the logic in specific shade controllers. The solution is to program a special group controller call a programable logic controller or "PLC" for short. Omron "Zen" PLC’s are custom programmed by Brading to allow 100% compatibility with any HA system. Omron PLC’s are fully flexible and expandable to work with all networks.
