Silent Gliss is a multi national company based in Bern, Switzerland. Silent Gliss International has plants throughout the world and is the industry leader in Europe and beyond. There are two fabrication facilities in North America, one in Atlanta, Georgia and the other in Toronto.

Silent Gliss was created of a group of engineers who, in the 1950's, designed the first truly whisper quiet, friction free drapery track. This was accomplished by using special plastic carriers running inside extruded aluminum tracks bonded with a special silicon finish. Since that time, Silent Gliss has focused on creating the highest quality hardware systems. Each part and component are fully engineered and tested to rigorous Swiss standards.

Silent Gliss focuses on the top 10% of the consumer pyramid. Their exceptional selection of quality fabrics includes Mermet sunscreen material, 100% blackout textiles and exclusive 134" wide "Colorama" light filtering shade cloth. Aluminum extrusions are all low profile and available in white or clear anodized.

Brading can take each shade job to the "next level" with spray painting or powder-coat of all hardware to any custom colour. Silent Gliss incorporates 24-volt DC, 120-volt AC and 240-volt AC motors supplied by Micro Motor, Dunkermotoren and Somfy. A wide range of switches, infrared and radio remote controls compliment these motors.
