The 24 volt DC system means that no unsightly junction boxes are required nor are any electrical inspections necessary. A simple plug in power supply provides the energy required to drive the motor. Glystro drapery tracks can handle a maximum weight of 70 lbs. The tracks are completely custom made and can be supplied up to 39 feet wide. Stacking options include centre split or one-way draw. Master overlap arms can also be supplied for maximum center split extension coverage. One of the greatest and unique advantages of Glystro is that it can be used manually, as well as motorized. Should the user accidentally grab the drapery fabric and try to pull it by hand, no damage will occur to the track or motor. This is not the case with most other drapery systems. Both Lutron QED and Silent Gliss motorized drapery tracks cannot be used manually as damage may occur to the hardware or confuse the motor limits. A simple wall switch can control the basic Glystro motor. This motor can also be connected into a home automation systems via a group controller or programmable logic controller (PLC). Glystro motors are also available in a radio transmission system ( Somfy RTS) version. This allows for hand held or radio wall switch operation. Now the full selection of RTS options can complement these superior drapery motors. Standard 45 and 90-degree bends are possible for bay and bow window applications. The low profile track is supplied in a standard white colour but can be custom painted if required. Low profile ceiling and wall mount brackets allow the track to be attached to the structure. Brading custom fabricates these tracks at our plant and lead time is under 2 weeks. Somfy Glystro motorized drapery tracks are backed by a five-year warranty
